Digital Strategist
As the Digital Strategist, your primary responsibility will be to execute and oversee the company's digital marketing strategy on various digital platforms in collaboration with Group Media Buying. You will work closely with the Marketing Manager and coordinate with the Commercial, Retail, and Distribution teams to ensure a consistent and creative approach across all digital channels for the promotion of our products and services.
You should be passionate about all aspects of marketing and possess strong analytical skills to manage multiple campaigns cohesively, maximizing their impact while reporting on the results. A tech-savvy mindset and an intuitive approach to generating innovative ideas are essential to succeed in this role.
Roles and Responsibilities
Digital Strategy Execution:
- Execute the company's digital strategy across all digital marketing channels.
- Encourage the adoption of digital-first techniques into the company's culture.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the effectiveness of the strategy.
Website Management:
- Update the company's Consumer, Digicel+ & Digicel Business websites.
- Ensure information is accurate, journeys sound, and campaigns are executed on-brand and on-time.
- Maintain and develop the company's e-commerce site.
- Ensure information, offers and pricing are accurate and promotions are regularly updated.
Lead Generation:
- Concept & implement Lead Generation pages to convert traffic.
- Test journeys, track leads & report on ROI.
- Optimize landing pages based on digital analytics.
Campaign Management:
- Place live digital campaigns with the Group Digital Team
- Submit localized campaign creatives.
- Submit compelling PPC and Paid Search copy, MSDN lists, and Landing Page URLs to One Team
- Measure the performance of digital marketing efforts by regularly analyzing the performance report dashboards
- Optimize campaigns to deliver better ROI
- Track campaign spend, Cost Per Lead (CPL), Cost Per Open (CPO), and Cost Per Click (CPC)
- Ensure the lead conversion report is actioned and coded in collaboration with the local sales team.
App & Screen Management:
- Execute the Digital Strategy in Retail.
- Ensure screens are updated and promotions are interactive.
- Regularly update content in the MyDigicel App
Partnerships and Advertising:
- Maintain partnerships with media agencies and vendors.
- Recommend local digital advertising opportunities
Qualifications
- Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing or Mass Communications
- Proven experience in digital marketing and strategy execution, with at least 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Previous experience in website management, e-commerce, lead generation, and campaign management is highly desirable.
- Strong Analytical Skills:
- Proficient in digital analytics tools such as Google Analytics, or similar platforms.
- Ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions.
- Experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization is an asset.
- Digital Marketing Expertise:
- In-depth knowledge of digital marketing channels including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and display advertising.
- Familiarity with emerging trends and best practices in digital marketing.
- Experience in managing paid advertising campaigns, including PPC and Paid Search.
- Tech-Savvy Mindset:
- Comfortable with various digital tools, platforms, and marketing automation software.
- Ability to adapt to new technologies and stay updated on digital marketing advancements.
- Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) such as, AEM, Squidex and e-commerce platforms.
- Creative and Innovative Thinking:
- Strong creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to generate innovative ideas and think outside the box to create engaging digital campaigns.
- A passion for staying ahead of industry trends and experimenting with new digital strategies.
- Communication and Collaboration:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Commercial, Retail, and Distribution departments.
- Experience in maintaining partnerships with media agencies and vendors.
- Project Management:
- Strong project management skills to coordinate multiple campaigns and initiatives concurrently.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage timelines and budgets effectively.
- Results-Driven:
- Demonstrated ability to set and achieve KPIs and goals related to digital marketing performance.
- Proven track record of optimizing digital campaigns to improve ROI and lead conversion rates.
- Data-Driven Decision-Making:
- Proficiency in using data to make informed decisions and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Strong knowledge of tracking and reporting on key metrics such as CPL, CPO, ROI, impression rates, and click-through rates.
- Digital Advertising Expertise:
- Experience in recommending and executing local digital advertising opportunities.
- Familiarity with various digital advertising platforms and their capabilities.
