Mariame McIntosh Robinson
A results-oriented leader with a track record and passion for transforming mission-driven organisations, Mariame has been President of Texas headquartered global fintech company QENTA Inc since 2023, and prior to that was Managing Director for a one-year period.
Prior to this, Mariame served as President and CEO of First Global Bank (a subsidiary of Grace Kennedy Ltd.) in Jamaica between February 2016 and June 2022 leading the bank’s transformation and strategic pursuit of financial inclusion.
She spent seven years as a private equity investor partner at Portland Private Equity, the largest private equity fund management company focused on the Caribbean region. Mariame also worked as a Strategy Consultant for five years in Bain & Company’s New York office and for two years with McKinsey & Company’s Atlanta office.
She is the Board Chair of TEACH Caribbean, an educational NGO she co-founded in 2006 with seed financing from Rhodes Trust to provide access to quality education for economically disadvantaged youth.
She holds a BSc in Electrical Engineering from MIT, an MBA from Harvard Business School and an MPhil in Economics from Oxford University which she attended as a Rhodes Scholar.
