THE “WIN TICKETS TO THE LOST IN TIME FESTIVAL” TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The “Win Tickets to the Lost in Time Festival” Promotion (the “Promotion”) Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) apply to you and govern your participation in the Promotion for a chance to win concert tickets. You should read these Terms carefully before participating in the Promotion.
“We” or “us” means Digicel (Jamaica) Limited, a company registered under the laws of Jamaica with registered offices at 14 Ocean Boulevard, Kingston, Jamaica. References to “we”, “our” and “us” in these Terms include our subsidiaries and affiliates (“Affiliates”) from time to time.
“I” or “You” means the person participating in this Promotion.
If you do not agree to or accept any of these Terms, you should stop participating in the Promotion immediately.
- What is the “Lost in Time Festival” Promotion?
This Promotion provides an opportunity for our Prepaid and Postpaid customers to win tickets to attend the Lost in Time Festival (“the concert”) on February 24, 2024 at Hope Gardens, 227 Old Hope Road, Kingston, Jamaica (“the venue”) once they perform a Qualifying Activity during the Promotional Period. There will be ten (10) Postpaid winners and fifteen (15) Prepaid winners. Each winner will be awarded two (2) tickets.
- What category of tickets will be awarded?
Winners will be given Comfort Experience tickets as detailed below:

- What is the Promotional Period?
This Promotion is valid from Thursday, February 15, 2024 at 12:00 AM EST through February 19, 2024 at 11:59 PM EST.
- Who is eligible to enter the Promotion?
In order to be eligible for this Promotion, you must perform one of the following Qualifying Activities during the Promotional Period (“Eligible Customer”):
For Postpaid Customers:
Step 1. Pay your Postpaid bill early and in full OR be on an active Postpaid Subscription Plan; and
Step 2. Opt-in to be part of the Promotion the My Digicel App during the Qualifying Period .
For Prepaid Customers:
Step 1. Activate or be on an Eligible Prime Brawta Plan (28-day Plan or higher); and
Step 2. Opt-in to be part of the Promotion via the MyDigicel App during the Qualifying Period .
You must opt into the Promotion on the same day you perform the Qualifying Activity.
The following customers are excluded from participating in the Promotion:
- Prepaid and Postpaid Corporate & Business account customers;
- Customers who have elected not to participate in any Digicel promotions;
- Employees/families of employees (Spouse and Children) of Digicel, employees of affiliated companies associated with this Promotion;
- Ambassadors of Digicel;
- Employees who have left Digicel within the three (3) month period preceding the commencement date of the Promotion and during the Promotional Period;
- Postpaid customers with an overdue amount;
- Directors of Digicel during the Promotional Period;
- Customers who have ported their number to another telecommunications network during the Promotional Period;
- Persons under the age of eighteen (18) years old;
- Customer Care/NewComm promotional blacklisted numbers; and
- Customers who have won a prize in Postpaid Staycation Promotion.
- What are the eligible Prime Brawta Plans or Postpaid Subscription Plans (“Eligible Plans”) that will grant customers entry into this Promotion?
Activation of the below Eligible Plans will grant customers an entry into the Promotion.

- Will the customer be notified when to enter the Promotion?
Public awareness for this Promotion will be in the form of programmatic advertising, promotional flyer, social media posting at the following handles: @digiceljamaica on Instagram and X (formerly Twitter) and Digicel Jamaica on Facebook, and direct SMS messages to the customers during the Promotional Period. The promotional details will also be uploaded to our website at https://www.digicelgroup.com/jm/en.
The following SMS will be sent to customers:
“Get Lost in Time on FEB 24th, with 2 Comfort Zone tickets to see Protoje & Friends LIVE! Opt-in the MyDigicel app to win. Text *147*20# to opt-out of promo text”

- Who can customers contact if they have queries or complaints about the Promotion?
For assistance with queries or complaints in respect of this Promotion, customers may contact Digicel’s customer care at Customercare@digicelgroup.com or by dialing 100.
- Is there a limit to the amount of times a customer can enter the Promotion?
Customers may opt-in once each day during a Qualifying Period.
- How many times can a customer enter and win?
Customers may only win once during the Promotional Period.

- When will the promotional draw be conducted?
The promotional draw will be conducted on February 20, 2024 Digicel’s Headquarters, 14 Ocean Boulevard, Kingston at 11:00 AM EST. The draw date in this instance refers to the date where Digicel will verify the winners.
- How will winners be selected?
The first five (5) customers who complete the complete the steps in section four (4) each day during the Promotional Period will win a prize. Specifically, this includes the first three (3) Prepaid customers and the first two (2) Postpaid customers.
- How will winners be notified?
Three (3) calls will be made to the winners on February 20, 2024 and February 21, 2024 between 12: 00 PM EST and 2:00 PM EST on the specified draw date. If there is no response to a number, the next number in-line will be contacted until a winner is successfully identified. All calls to customers will be made from 876-619-5000; this number is the only number that is authorized for the making of calls to winners for this Promotion. During the telephone contact of the selected winners, full details of the winning prize will be communicated along with the process for redeeming their prize.
- What will winners need in order to claim their prize?
In order to claim their prize, the winner will need to provide the below information to the email address provided by the Digicel representative who contacted them from 876-619-5000 within twenty-four (24) hours of initial contact by Digicel:
- Full Name
- Contact Number
- A clear head shot photo
- Valid Government-issued photo identification (Driver’s Licence, Passport, Voter’s ID) (original identification should be presented upon attendance at our office).
- Winning phone number (the number must be registered to the intended winner). If the number is unregistered the customer may proceed to register same within the timeframe specified above.
Special Needs Winners
If a selected winner has special needs and is unable to collect their prize and/or submit the relevant documents, that winner will be allowed to have a representative act on their behalf. Such representative must provide written consent from the winner selected, endorsed by a Justice of the Peace and valid Government-issued photo identification for both the winner and their representative to claim the prize.
Forfeiture of Prizes
If a winner is unable to provide the above information and documents within the timeframe stipulated above, the prize will be forfeited. If a prize is forfeited, Digicel reserves the right to select another winner in accordance with the mechanism specified herein.
Additional Considerations for Prize Redemption
- Prizes will be available for collection at Digicel’s Headquarters at 14 Ocean Boulevard, Kingston up until 5:00 PM EST on February 24, 2024. The winner may attend in person or send an authorized person to collect on their behalf. Such representative must provide written consent from the winner selected, endorsed by a Justice of the Peace and valid Government-issued photo identification for both the winner and their representative.Winners are required to sign a Redemption Form confirming receipt of their prize.
- Prizes may not be transferred or exchanged.
- Prizes are not exchangeable and are not redeemable for cash.
- Save in the event of its gross negligence, neither Digicel, nor any other person or party associated with the Promotion, their associated companies, agents, contractors and sponsors or any of its personnel involved in the Promotion, shall be liable whatsoever for any loss or damage incurred or suffered, death or personal injury suffered or sustained, or costs incurred, arising from either participation in the Promotion or from claiming any reward.
Additional Terms and Conditions
- This Promotion is offered for your personal use and not for commercial use and you agree not to sell any rewards redeemed through this Promotion.
- We reserve the right to disqualify you or terminate this offer if, in our opinion, the Promotion is being abused, such abuse to include but not be limited to selling or attempts to sell the prizes, whether on a commercial basis or otherwise, general abuse deemed as an attempt to undermine the integrity of our services.
- The selected winners must have complied with these Terms and Conditions to enter and be on an active, qualifying contract with no accounts held with Digicel being in arrears to be eligible to win the prizes.
- By redeeming the prize, the winners agree to be bound by any terms and conditions imposed by the venue or the concert.
- If a prize is unavailable, we may, in our discretion, substitute the prize with an alternative prize to the equal value and/or specification.
- We reserve the right to, at any time, with or without notice, vary or cancel the terms and conditions of this Promotion. In the event of us giving notice to you of any such changes to or cancellation of the Promotion, it shall suffice for us to give you notice via messages to your handset/device or to post such notification on the Digicel website or the MyDigicel App. Any such notification shall be effective immediately or as of the date referred to in such notifications.
- By entering this Promotion, you consent to the use of your personal data by Digicel and/or any agent appointed by it to assist with running the Promotion for the purposes of administration of the Promotion (including publishing your full name and country and/or disclosing it to third parties in accordance with applicable law) and any other purposes to which you have consented. If you refuse to do so, you forfeit your right to claim the prize if you are selected as the winner.
- Winners agree to take part in any promotional, marketing or publicity activities or events reasonably requested by Digicel, failing which the prize may be forfeited. By participating in the Promotion, you consent to the use of your name, likeness, image, photograph for any and all programming and/or publicity or advertising purposes, commercial or otherwise, in all media and formats used by Digicel’s or its agencies, without further compensation, throughout the world in perpetuity. If you refuse to do so, you forfeit your right to claim the prize if you are selected as the winner.
- In addition to these Terms and Conditions, you remain bound by our MyDigicel App (“the App”) Terms and Mobile Terms and Conditions of Use.
