1. What is the Vacation SIM? 

The Vacation SIM allows visitors to purchase a Digicel SIM card to be used while in Jamaica. This pre-loaded SIM card provide customers with data and anywhere minutes to stay connected with their loved ones back home while in Jamaica.  

2. What will be needed to ensure a successful activation of the Vacation Plan with the SIM?  

Customers need to ensure they have an internationally unlocked device. The device must be able to operate on the Digicel bandwidth (700MHZ spectrum with band class 17. The APN must be provisioned in the device as (web.digiceljamaica.com) and network mode must be enabled. 

3. How will the Vacation Plan work? 

ESIM Purchase: 

• You will be able to purchase the eSIM card at esim.digicelgroup.com. 
• Once the eSIM card becomes activated, the plan will be activated on the account automatically.  

Physical SIM Purchase: 

• You can purchase the physical SIM card at the https://shop.digicelgroup.com/jm/new-prepaid/prepaid-vacation-sim.html 
•  The physical SIM will be distributed to a destination of your choice such as hotel, villa, etc.  
• Dial *122# or call 122, after which the plan will be activated on the account automatically.  

4. What is the eSIM Card Purchase Journey? 

1. Visit esim.digicelgroup.com 

2. Select the country you intend to visit (Jamaica) 

3. Select the desired ESIM Plan 

4. Review the order and confirm the handset is unlocked 

5. Complete online registration (Photo Scan ID & confirm the data captured) 

6. Make a payment with a credit/debit card 

7. Receives QR code and manual codes with OS-specific instructions
